I am glad that I provide enjoyment of any sort to you. But what you think is an audience may perhaps be a roomful of mirrors, or the exposure might actually be exhibitionism.

But anyway, as one might expect from a guy of my background, I like to think, and my posts are often long, usually because I think things out before posting. Some read them, some agree, many don't read, many don't agree, some correct my mistakes, many find me supercilious. That is all understandable and part of being on a sports board. But I do feel a sort of burden to explain anything I am going to say.

Because so much of my training and teaching has not involved perspectives but rather the structure of reasoning itself (means rather than destinations), I start getting frustrated when a person is not just un-analytical, poorly educated about many things, and gets confused, but most importantly, believes that persistent arguments and insults bridges this gap. And one of my many personal failures is that when I am frustrated, I am blunt and nasty.

So, I have to confess I do not think there is any worth, in reading value for others or on my part, to my engaging with you. Nothing intellectually interesting is ever generated. There is nothing personal in this and even if there was, I would be relieved because you have mentioned it would not matter.

Putting you back on the ignore list, which I was quite disciplined in maintaining for 5 months and relaxed only as an experiment, seems like a good public compromise.

Seattle can take unprotected pending UFAs. Vegas took three of them in 2017.

If they wanted to take Laughton, they'd get an exclusive 48-hr window to talk with him prior to the draft.

They don't actually get to take them in the same way that they pick other players in the ED. The get the window to negotiate and if they agree to a deal. That player counts at their pick from that team.

I am certain that either Florida or Pitt will take a shot at him. With our luck, it'll be pitt and he'll score a hat trick next time we play them while Hexy does a dance in the owners box..

Good morning. Wonder how the locker room feels with Ghost being waived? Will that be the built in excuse for tonight's game? The they we were not focused angle.

Too many people worry way too much what a player does if they get traded, waived, released or whatever.

OMG what if Gus gets traded and scores 60 points again!

What if a player doesn't get re-signed and becomes an all-star?

The question is why can't they do that here? No one is stopping Ghost from playing good here....even if the team is bad, he can still do his part.

Only time I personally think it's a valid excuse is with prospects, which are unknown for the most part until they make the roster. If you don't give them a chance then its the team's fault if they succeed elsewhere.
