Adam Henrique. He played for Lou and is a leader and can play LW on the top line and take Face offs for Barzal in Offensive zone because he is a natural center.

Ducks would have to take Ladd's contract for this to happen and most likely a 2nd rd pick as well.

Meh. Also, there is no way it would only take a 2nd round pick to get him and give them Ladd’s contract

If that we’re the case it would already be done

Wonder if we go for Rikard Rakell instead of what we’re thinking? We would have to find a way to dump some salary for next season which the Ducks may do if we up the ante a bit. Maybe take Komarov and a first plus a lower prospect or pick.

He’s currently suffering from a concussion. No idea on the severity.

I’d gladly give Anaheim a 1st if they’d take Ladd. They can keep Henrique. Too much term.

It’s a good idea though. The guy is affordable, skilled and likes to shoot the puck. What’s more he’s willing to defer, so he’d probably be a great partner for Barzal.

Aside from the usual suspects, a couple guys that I think might fit top 6-9 that wouldn't cost a ton.

Bobby Ryan, 7g/7a 14pts in 33 games, won Masterson last yr, character type guy Lou likes, $1M cap hit, UFA. Him with Nelson and Bailey might be a nice fit.

Alex Iaffalo, 8g/13a 21 pts in 32 games, 27 yr old, $2.425M cap hit, UFA.

With LA gunning for a playoff spot, I think the Kings keep Iafallo.

Ryan isn’t a bad idea. Didn’t he play a fair bit with Pageau in Ottawa?

LA has a .485 win percentage, but you are correct, they are somehow only 6pts out with two games in hand Just looked at the 32 pts and figured they were toast.

I didn't follow Ryan with Ottawa so not sure if they played on a line together, but they know each other's character. Which might not be a good thing as I think Bobby wasn't the best teammate in those days. But for the price and I believe he's a changed man, might be worth a shot

Well the price is certainly right. Not sure what the cost to acquire him might be.

I’ll also add he’s not Bailey which is a huge plus.

Probably right, Biden would still be trying. Not smart enough to just take the top off
