My buddy who had a similar reaction to me is a mine worker and said the 2nd one was worse, flu-like symptoms for 4 days or so I think.

Not the end of the world, just need to give my boss a heads up when I'm going to be getting it so he knows I'll likely miss some time.

Of course, it's just severely lower. The amount of people who have had the vaccine and gotten sick is a minuscule amount.

And the main point of the vaccine is to prevent death/hospitalization, not necessarily to stop you from ever getting the virus. Which they all do 100% of the time according to the data.

We have zero community transmission, but we have people testing positive regularly that arrive from overseas and are in managed isolation.

We going for that herd immunity i guess, so that we can open up the borders with Australia again and allow my old man to come and help me re do the deck.

You have a MUCH lower risk of getting it in the first place, and a further MUCH lower risk of getting severely sick/hospitalizing/dying.

I'm not sure of the argument against it because it's slightly possible you may still get sick.
