In years past, Pronman has often been way off on his rankings vs draft position. But the idea of either Clarke or Eklund falling to us is pleasing. They would both be a best case scenario at #9
- Retinalz

His rankings have jumped around a lot as leagues operate at different times in different capacities... I'm sure teams' scouting boards are doing the same.

Could be some very good players going later than they should

Please pass JB. This team doesn't need another rover

I can honestly say that I have a hard time drafting a kid in the top 10 when his rankings tend to be 20+
- Retinalz

I dont normally shoot a player up 10 spots unless I feel as if he is overlooked. Pronman is a tool.

Pinelli has gone to europe and done well in a mens league, although not a great league but still better than the OHL. Speed is something he possesses a bit more than other forwards around the top 10. Feels as if there is quite a few goal scorers in this draft.

The best case scenario would be Simon Edvinsson, who Pronman doesn't even have ranked in his top 10.

Renaud Levoie says that the Canadians might target Gudbranson. Says he is the perfect fit. I used to respect him. Although it would be hilarious if Reubys team went all in on that plug

All things being equal, a highly rated RHD is more of a best case than a highly rated LHD. Both have top pairing potential, and we have lots of that at LHD already.

Schmidt hasn't been close to living up to his cap hit. Get an asset better than a 3rd. Ghost can take his minutes and bring more offense at 2.4M less per year and less term.

We have zero prospects or players on the team that is able to take over the hard, minute-munching, all-situations role, which i believe both Edvinsson and Power will become.
I will be elated if Canucks could get either of those 2 guys.

What would he need to do to constitute being worth his Cap hit? His assists are slightly below average, but his goals are roughly the same as when he was on vegas. He's not an offensive defenseman

I am all in on getting rid of Schmidt, but not replaced by Ghost, he is pretty terrible.

What exactly is Schmidt? I see him as a #4 defenseman on a crappy team, a#5 on a decent team.
Good thing we are only stuck with him for another 4 years.
This over paid underperformed nonsense just never ends in Canucksville.

I'm more interested in the opinion of the rocket scientists here on whether I should get a Covid-19 vaccination.

All good.
I was one of the people I was referring to.
I live in and amongst a very vulnerable peoples and was called up at the last minute, to take a vaccine as it was about to expire.
I was not going to say no.
I am now micro-chipped, as the previous vaccine that I have taken, to help prevent/reduce severity of sickness have been deemed ineffective to track my whereabouts.
I am sure the people tracking my life will be comatose following my activities.

Right on Reubs!!

I love this storyline: the Canucks and Flames now have identical records as Calgary as made up their games in hand — and the two teams play each other on Wednesday.

I haven't done the math in detail, but I can still imagine a way that the Canucks could get on a Demko-driven hot streak and challenge a tired Canadiens team for that final playoff spot...

you know what's up. you're not a sheep like the anti-maskers.

you know who's behind the anti-mask movement right? yup... it's big brother government and the surveillance industry.

what do you think happens when everyone wears a mask? you can't get caught on surveillance cameras, drones or facial recognition software.

big brother government and the military surveillance industry needs you NOT to wear a mask. that's why they are behind the propaganda for the anti-mask sheep.

it's funny how i had several memos from top government officials and the military industry stating how they started the anti-mask movement but now they seem to have been "scrubbed" from the internet. i'd tell you guys to look into it, but they've removed/censored all of it.

- RealityChecker

Well played RC!!

You pro-mask snowflakes love that virtue-signalling and illusion of safety hey?

Masks don't work but hey here's a recap over the past 12 months...

Circle of COVID:

Experts - OK world, heres our plan to beat COVID. Full lockdowns, masks and business closures and economic shutdown...

Reality - Fail

Experts again - OK cool, so heres what we do...Masks and closures but way harder this time...much harder...

Reality - Still fail

Experts third wave - I've got it!! We'll do masks and closures with restrictions and lockdowns again...

Reality - .........
