Did you find piss in your cheerios this morning?
What has you so happy this morning?

Seeing this early morning anger has got me thinking that maybe we need a support group for flyers fans of 2021

No anger at all. Just annoyance at stupidity which never changes. If you're coming here to talk about TODAY'S game at least know what time it starts. It's called educating yourself ever so slightly. Plus he has Igor's name in there which makes me wonder if he's a Pen's fan infiltrator!! You just know they're going to start showing up.

The one thing you can be sure of with this Flyers team is they never do what you expect them to do. Most of us are bracing for another 6-0 deficit by the 2nd period today, but most likely today the Flyers will play a sound game and win in OT. Then when you think they can build on a victory or two and they get blown out 8-3. Such is life as a Flyers fan. Totally maddening!

You're probably right. Sneak out a win today and lose 8-3 to the lowly Sabres on Monday. Would certainly fit this current team's MO.

Knowing the Flyers history...they still have a couple weeks to go before they go on a tear looking like the best team in the league while just missing a playoff berth. Then the same cliché speak will carry over in to the offseason "Well we finished strong so that will be a good sign for the upcoming year!".

Then repeat.

This team was not playing well before the Covid related pause, they were just putting up goals at a ridiculous rate. The house of cards came crashing down, this team has stunk all year.

This team really hasn't played well since they restarted after the shutdown last year. They won the exhibition round robin games and that's been it. Hart got them through the series against the Habs, and the Isles out skated them and out hit them. You make the playoffs to have your weaknesses exposed(lack of physicality and speed) and yet Chucky apparently learned nothing from that. Maybe I'm a first class bozo and I'm simplifying things too much, but I think the problem lies in this brutal schedule. What I mean is that all teams are being taxed and the slower less physical teams are being exposed even more than usual. Perhaps this is bunk.

Yeah he really should know what time the game is at, shouldn't he?! 😂
I hate malkin. But he's dirty enough and so skilled that I'd love him in orange and black though. Like what happened with jagr.!
Jagr looked so much better in orange and black though, didn't he?! With that long flowing mane of his flying in the air behind him as he skates. I 2osh they would have brought him back for another season or two but management screwed it up with stalling on his contract
All of the other fans normally shoe up to talk crap but I think even they feel bad for us this year with the goals we are hemmoraging. We are two easy points for everybody right now.

Morin to first D pair
Patty with a hatty
Flyers begin win streak
Happy April 1st

I don't get all the Morin bashing I've seen in various places. I don't think anyone is saying he's going to save the season, but god forbid we enjoy ANY aspect of these ass whoopings we've been on the receiving end

This team is losing on fixable stuff tho, last coverage s, zero attention to detail. It’s literally on the players

Exactly. That is why anyone who tries to use the Covid stop in the season as an excuse will be laughed at.

I'm happy to see wisdom sticking up for himself!
Laczynski is heating up and playing sound hockey
Morin is on the blue line handling business
Allison is playing well

We really need some players who actually care about playing with and without the puck. We are lacking in that department. If the kids do get some games I hope they look hungry and I hope they make a name for themselves while here

Is it bad that I am more excited for updates from the phantoms than I am about the flyers? Phantoms are playing some good hockey.
Isn't it crazy how different of a season it is for both of our hockey team this year?
Phantoms are rising and flyers are drowning

There 22 points up for grabs still VS BUF/NJ/NYR

Really gotta start gettin our poop together.

Its divisional hockey, you control your destiny. Points can be made up quick but you GOTTA beat the teams ahead of you

I don’t know if we’re gonna win and I don’t know if we’re gonna lose but the lack of adjustments in game is pretty Infuriating.

The Couturier PP unit is clearly better than the Giroux unit, but Giroux’s unit gets the starts. In fact I’d move Giroux to Couturier’s unit and take one of Hayes or Konency off it.

Konency hasn’t played well with Couturier and JvR, why isn’t Farabee not getting our back there?

There is a lot of staying the course, even if it’s not working. I’m a Patrick supporter but I would have scratched him weeks ago.

If they go on a tear this year it means they are beating teams in their division. Its likely they make the playoffs if they go on a tear.

The 2 Games VS BOS will pretty much be a deciding factor in whether or not PHI can make the playoffs

Not a huge fan of Hayes or Konecny on the PP. Rather see Giroux, Coots, Farabee, Voracek and Provorov on PP

Im mostly fine with Patricks play, hes been buzzing. I know he had a bad +/- game last game but I think he's trending up.

This team really needs a game where everything just goes right to get the confidence up.

Provorov should be no where near the PP. I do agree tho on the other guys, let’s load up one PP. trying to have two PP units doesn’t work. Name one good team that doesn’t have a go to top unit

The Rangers just moved ahead of them in the standing by a tune of 17-3, and they lost at home to the Devils. They can't beat the teams behind them.

The Penguins are playing without Malkin as well as 4 other forwards, key pieces like Kapanen, and Tanev and they are 10 points ahead of the Flyers.

The 3 straight home losses to the Caps was the end of the playoffs.

Since they started allowing fans, they have lost 6 of 7 home games.

I think there is some confusion here or maybe my memory is bad. Last season, before they paused, the Flyers were playing extremely well. This season earlier in the year when they had a strong record was when they were outscoring their deficiencies.

Being happy with Patrick when he's -19 with 1 point in his last 25 games is interesting.

Guilty. I meant in terms of the fact they have players that actually stick up for one another, play with speed, and play the game with an attitude. Are the Flames the Isles, Caps, Golden Knights, or TB? No, certainly not. But they sure as f*ck a lot more fun to watch than the Flyers as currently constructed.
