Morin is showing he should remain in the lineup.
The change to forward in camp was just a terrible decision over Gus and Prosser.

Nice to see the kid have success...he has played really well. He definitely brings an element that the Flyers need. Nice to see the opposition pay a price to go to the front of the Flyers net. If the Flyers ever needed an infusion of something it was now....let’s hope Morin is it.

Sam needs to be with the Flyers. He’s been one of so few players in the passed two games
- SuperSchennBros

He’s earned another game...with him, after his trials and tribulations....it’s something positive for this team...also nice to see a Patrick sighting.

I am a big Sam fan too. And I will happily acknowledge that he and Ghost have been good together.

What a happy goal!

Flyers starting to figure out that the Rangers are so aggressive defending high that they're susceptible to the fake point to point and hi-low passes. Evidenced by the play Ghost made on the NP goal.

I don't get all the Morin bashing I've seen in various places. I don't think anyone is saying he's going to save the season, but god forbid we enjoy ANY aspect of these ass whoopings we've been on the receiving end

About time we got a positive result. We all suffered for a bit there. Haha.

Gotta keep it up

The Flyers now might choose to protect Morin over Myers if Morin continues to play well according to one poster.

Serious question and you would know. Do they even have to protect him because he is a UFA?

Yeah let’s get rid of a guy we’ve invested years into, let alone a high draft pick, for a guy that went undrafted and has struggled.

Think with your heart you soulless bastard

After such a crappy month, the team really needed this...not just win, but something to feel really good about. Cue Morin. I really hope he finds his niche long term. He is certainly better than almost all the players we have been running out on D this year...only two games worth, but if he can play the way he has so far, he will be an effective 5-6 defender. Seems like a real nice guy too...off the ice.

I really want him to fight Matt Martin after that (frank) shot a puck in our net way after the whistle last game.

I think said commenter was being somewhat facetious. But if you keep making bone head plays, not executing the simple assignments, and becoming a constant liability, it doesnt matter how big or fast or which hand you shoot with, your not going to make it on any team.

With that said, he's 24 and I think he can right the ship with more coaching and studying. Will that be with the Flyers? Who knows.

Important win, great moment for Sam....I hope he becomes the reliable big strong D he was drafted to be. Need to give it some time before we anoint him a starter, much less a star.

Those tall lanky defensemen always take the longest to develop. Add on those injuries it was always going to be hard to gauge this kid accurately.
