I know you love Tanev but you have seen his best. He isn’t great. He is an awkward nerd on and off the ice and has a very fragile body. I promise you will be wanting to buy him out within two seasons
- CanuckDon

This is a donkey take, only have to look at how far hughes regressed defensively and how well hanafin is doing this year for the evidence. Facts are facts donny boi

Remember when dallas was like 6 points and 4 games in but you guys had them top of the rankings cause of percentage?! blade cuts both ways, need a big enough sample for percentage to be relevant
- neem55

No actually, I don’t remember that. Do you have a link?

I'd take a good look at Howden if i was JB, if he can be had on the cheap that's a lay-up imo
- neem55

Take DeAngelo, buy him out in the summer. Get Howden for a no name prospect from Van. Toni Utunen or something

We need to but out Loui, Roussel and Holtby, I don't think it is a good idea to purchase another player to be bought out.

5.5 million roughly in cap savings.

Yeah he’s no Schmidt!
In 2 years the Flames will be in year 10 of their rebuild and should be able to replace him with Micheal Stone.

Flames have been rebuilding since 2005...

No more lefties. We need RHD’s.
- Shuswap Wap

Do we have a percentage on bringing in RHD's?

Is it a future thing or something we can predict now?

No matter how good or bad the team does the focus is the negative...

We could be 15th but we really need to be in 25th...

Deangelo isn't taking a roster spot atm, also he has value after last season even if he's a pos person

We played well in march, even in games we lost. I just want to see the ream compete like that, result matters more to me next year at this point. North division was just too much of a curve ball for such a young team, but ive got faith if JB keeps building the d up

There have been lots of positive comments, all season.

Brock has turned into a decent player at both ends of the ice.
Demko is one of the best young goalies in the league.
Bo is a solid contributor, while taking on hard minutes.
JTM, Bo and Elias would be a nice trio, up the middle.
Juolevi has looked like a player that can contribute.
Hoglander has been a nice surprise for most.
Several have even complimented Sutter, but, people realize it is time to move on and get better, just like you with your comments about moving on from Tanev and Edler.😁

One - you’ve missed the joke, but it’s early so I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt.

Two - I literally do not remember anyone in this space discussing the Dallas Stars. I guess someone might have, but you inferred I suggested that their 2-2 start or whatever it was meant something.

I’m sure some nerd out there has cranked out a stat for that. I do remember reading an article a couple years back about percentage of lefties and righties between Canada and the US.

We finally have the makings of something really good here. Horvat, Boeser, Pettersson, Hughes, Demko, Hogs, Pods, OJ, and even Miller if he stays. Lots to build around. The fact we almost made the conference final last year amplifies alot of where this club should have been headed expectation-wise. Bottom line is we are where we are and have to deal with it. People here might wanna wrap their heads around the fact that Benning and Green will probably still be here to start next season. lol

Doesn't make much sense to buyout Roussel or Holtby unless they absolutely need too.

The NHL this season has proven the guy has less value than Sven.

The Kassian hit on Tavares was refreshing, you don't see hits/grit like that from VAN.
