there's part of me that thinks it wouldn't be the worst idea in the world for the Rangers to make a claim

they can expose him to Seattle and if he goes unclaimed the defense next year could be

I think we've been looking to obtain the wrong center in Buffalo. Instead of Eichel, we should go after Cozens. Won't be cheap.

if they did, it buys the Rangers one more year on the left side waiting for Zac Jones to come out of school and Reunanen and Matthew Robertson get full year's in Hartford next year

and then they keep Hajek as the 7th defenseman

next year really isn't the problem, it's 2022-23 when Ghost is still making 4.5 million and those guys need that slot and Fox is off his entry level deal probably making over 6 mil a year
