well I mean, this blog brings up Kupari, that doesn't mean he's the guy the Kings would dangle

Back problems be damned I'm with Tom about Villardi.

People do love throwing out random names in trades that realistically will never be traded on here lol

Is Kupari enough to get that done?
- JRR1285

The problem is, neither has played at an NHL level. What we do know is that Kupari has been very good in the AHL.

we had so many line combinations that included Charlie Coyle we should send him a jersey

Fair enough. It just would be nice for the organization to turn some of their abundance into something that can bolster a weakness.

The problem is most people arent willing to part with the significant pieces required to make it happen.

What people need to do is make the list of people on the do not trade list, within reason (which is a hard ask of Rangers fans), and then work with the outliers to consolidate pieces for a #1 center, or at the very least a very good 2C.

I've been wondering what it would take to get a veteran 1C that can come in and help with the experience and maybe grit part. Seguin comes to mind. Terrible idea?

Tony says hi
- TPC

Wonder if Tony can be shipped to Florida to help replace injured Ekblad?

Make the trade return conditional based on how much time Tony plays. Range it from a bag of pucks up to a 2nd round pick.

You gotta wonder. ADA could be a solid addition if the acquiring team gets him into game action now.

yeah maybe

I still think it's all about no team wanting to pay him 5.3 million next year more than anything else why Tony hasn't been traded

Instead of trading one of our D prospects for a Center you think there is any possibility they try and go with a 1 year stop gap by signing a center like Getzlaf, Krejci, or a Stastny? An older player with experience to maybe help along some of the younger players? I'd hate to trade Lindqvist for another player who will need to grow and develop. Our window should be in the next few years, can't spend all of bread and Zib's prime developing players.

I think you hit the nail on the head right there. Plus the distraction he can bring because you know the media is gonna hype the poop out of it. It's why no team will touch him until the buyout happens.

Yeah but they have too many players on the wing and on D. Someone HAS to go. Unfortunately the piece(s) leaving will likely be serviceable NHL players. Hopefully they get back the same.

I didn't realize Barkov was injured as well. Panthers are having a rough stretch.
