yep, and its killing Lafreniere

That whole line likes to play who can get rid of the puck faster. I guess that's the product of a center who isn't good at being one.

Typical Rangers fan trade:

NYR: Reunanen + Chytil (a potentially serviceable dman and a forward were done with)
LAK: Kupari (blue chip prospect)

Kings counter:

NYR: Lundqvist (blue chip prospect)
LAK: Kupari (blue chip prospect)

Rangers fans go bonkers and flip their crap about the trade and how its impossible we do that.

I was advocating before that proposal someone would have to leave (eg: Lundkvist etc). I wasn't really sure of Kupari's status and what it would take to acquire him. Figured Chytil who isn't doing well at Center but has a lot of upside and Reunanen might get it done, maybe with a sweetener attached?

I don't know what they do? I don't see them breaking up the top 2 lines. Maybe Kratsov skill will help that line

He's too busy doing "renovations".

They have to get rid of Chytil. He is dead weight on that line.

Theyre only option is to trade him. Who knows he might turn into a Kyle Connor, who was thoroughly experimented at C and didnt hit his stride til he finally was put on LW. However were too stacked on the wings unless they wanna try LAF at C and Chytil at LW on that line.

Pizza boy brings nothing to the table anymore. I view him as a fast Lemieux that isn't tough.

I agree, put Blackwell and Gaut on the fourth. Or even move Chytil to the fourth line wing and let Blackwell play 3c for a game.

- Bean_Dip

Chytil is useless right now. Let him watch a few games on TV.

I don't know enough about their current system to offer an educated answer on that. But it sounds like it would obviously not get it done.

Would you trade this years 1st rounder(lottery protected) and a prospect for Kupari? Would that get the Kings listening?

I think Laf is responsible enough but they seem completely unwilling to try it, at least right now.

You know who plays like a center right now? Kakko. I just don't know if he can take draws.

I am not moving our 1st rounder till I know where it is in the draft. It could have more value if it ends up being higher than we think

I just know for a fact that Rob Blake wants a young potential superstar defenseman

I could just imagine that conversation with his agent.
