Quinn was making Zib shoot wide and fall down on shots the first two months
Knoblauch has him hitting the net
duhhhhh, it's so simple - jimbro83
It was right in front of our faces the whole time.
Quinn is a virus and must be expunged with extreme prejudice. Clear as day. |

Can we just talk about how good Adam Fox is? It’s unfair to compare the kid to Leetch but I can’t remember the last time we had a player like him. You can make an argument that he is the best player on the team right now next to Panarin. If you had to pick one player from this team right now to build around you could pick Fox and I don’t think anyone would argue it. It’s only his 2nd year in the league!! 🤯🤯 - Awolff9
He is more comparable to zubov then leetch. He is phenomenal |

Zibianjaed is the most incredible player to try and figure out
he may actually be playing better right now at this moment than he was playing last year before the pause

Someone doesn’t just fall off the way he did. Covid or an injury had to be playing a part in his “slump” |

We all witnessed how bad our defense was the last 2 seasons under Lindy Ruff's tenure. So we KNOW what bad defense looks like. The Flyers defense is FAR WORSE.
The lack of talent, skill, and structure was striking during last nights game. It wasn't just one pairing, it was all of them. I don't watch the Flyers enough to judge whether this is a slump or not, but if they don't turn it around, they won't make the playoffs. If they somehow sneak in, they will get crushed right away like we did against Carolina last year.
I kept reading about the fall of Carter Harts play. He does have positional and technical issues ( that can be fixed ) but OMG his defense isn't helping him in any way, shape or form.
I won't visit, but the Flyers board must be going NUTS ---- and for good reason... |

Has there ever been a more volatile season by a player than the one Zib is having? Crazy. |

If the Flyers miss the playoffs, A/V will be available for those who want him back. |

Well he kind of said in an interview that in the beginning it was getting back into game shape but after he felt fine it was mostly mental. |

I think his next stop will be Buffalo if that happens. They don't care about post season success as long as they make the post season.

I will say, if AV wanted to come in as an assistant just to run the gum machine, that may be a good add. |

Not easy to coach without a hank or a luongo |

I haven't really chimed in on the Knoblough/Quinn discussion, but figured I would throw a perspective out there.
The Ranger's are playing Quinn's system with Knoblouch behind the bench. While Knoblouch's in game adjustments or talks may help some of the players, ultimately there is no change in a system mid-season. It just does not happen. With that, I would say that I look a execution of the system. If the system has remained the same, then the execution of said system falls on the players. So I would put more weight on the players finally executing a system that has been put in place than a temporary coach.
I know arguments have been made about maintaining a line or the encouragement on the bench, however, at the end of the day, it is the players responsibility to engage and play the system. - NYRCeph
I think its Jacques Martin's system

the biggest gripe that people harp on about Quinn is the kid's not developing right?
These wins under Knoblauch have nothing to do with the kids
it's been the veterans dominating, the powerplay finally clicking, etc. |

He got way to much poop here, way to much. It was painful to read |

The Rangers have the nucleus of something special about to happen:
Panarin
Zib
Fox
Miller

The dude looked like a baby deer on the ice. Missed the net.. broke sticks.. had eyes wider than cup saucers. I think it was more concern than crap. |

I doubt you remember but I was totally with you about Zib. I do admit however about being more concerned about Laf and Kakko. I just don't see that insane talent like you see with Fox or Miller for instance. I hope I am wrong though

but if Miller and Fox were here at 18 and 19 years old, would they be as good as they look now? |
