I think there’s something about playing for a pathetic, toxic franchise like OTT that converts an otherwise pleasant person into a ball of bitterness and anger. That’s my theory, anyways

it really torques you that Ottawa has been INFINITELY more successful than the leafs in the cap era.........and i love it.

you talk about "inferiority complex".....you realize that over the last 2 decades, ottawa has been BY FAR the superior team.

leafs are literally the only team who hasn't won a SINGLE playoff round in the cap era.....NOT ONE.

You also own almost all of the biggest chokes and humiliating loses in that same time frame.

your fan base is so insanely fragile and easy to trigger......it's why you come on to other teams message boards and try to convince them how good your team is.

and BTW, Winnipeg and Edmonton have better more balanced teams than the leafs.

Not that many years ago I switched over from the Leafs to the Sens. The Sens have won multiple playoff rounds since that time. The Leafs have not won a single playoff round.

When nothing changes, nothing changes. Leafs are losers. Let me know if they ever get around to winning a series. In the mean time I will just enjoy watching the young Sens grow into a serious contender.

Christian Wolanin clears waivers. All the panic amongst fans is all for not. Goes to show what he is worth to the other 30 NHL teams right now. Hopefully, he can get some meaning reps in the AHL and get back on track.

I don’t think anyone thought he was a valuable piece, I think people were pissed that the 3 dmen who are even worse weren’t the ones who were waived. Yes wolanin cleared, but brown, Cobourn and Gudbrandson would have cleared too.

None of those 4 is good, but wolanin is the only one who doesn’t make we want to throw things at the TV when he’s on the ice
