I have Gmail/google drive/Dropbox/Outlook mail - you name it, they all work with my Mac. The only thing I can think of is iMessage, like the old BBM, that requires same brand devices.

Sometimes you get a different font on a document so it changes it, have the option to save a spreadsheet to an xls etc. I just find it reliable and trouble free. It's like owning a toyota.

I love apple products, they've done me well. Others hate them and call them overpriced. I've had my macbook pro for 12 years now while my wife has bought 5 laptops in the same timeframe.

Those old MacBooks live forever and barely slow down if you keep up with maintaining them. I built my own PC and have owned android phones for the last 10 years so I'm a bit biased, but gotta give credit to the shelf life of those MacBooks

you get exactly what you pay for with those. Reliability, user friendly, good protection against virus's, long shelf life. I would put up a macbook against any other brand of laptop for longevity.
