Can’t wrap my head around coach’s love affair with Bailey. I don’t see any redeeming quality. If Bellows committed the four or five blatant turnovers just inside the Flyers blue line last night that Bailey did, at least three of them leading to odd man rushes, he would most likely never see the ice again as an Islander.

Mainly b/c his line kept getting pinned b/c he gave the puck away at the blueline about 15 times instead of dumping it deep and changing. Guy is a complete nightmare.

Sorokin's best game yet IMO.. even though he had 2 shut outs earlier.. some great saves.

funny how putting Beau on JGP's line has exposed the Brock/Bailey/mdc a bit. They were terrible... and Leo has officially put Barzal's line to sleep.

I've never seen somebody who always seems to be standing still and not skating. Watching him try to make a move with the puck is like watching somebody on skates for the first time trying to make that same move

my favorite head scratching moment of that game was when Barzal had puck in corner.. drew 2 Flyers. Eberle was covered at the net by other D-man. He tried to pass it to Leo who was between the dots, but Leo was heading off for a change...

guess he was tired.
