I can see trotz going with either tender against the pens tomorrow. I wouldn’t be overly surprised if he threw varlamov in there since they seem to have our number this season and he obviously trusts Varly in big game situations...

I would chalk it up to a bit of rust due to a week off but he wasnt particularly good in that Flyers game either. Just a rough patch. I do think he got better in the 2nd and 3rd

Varly seems to give up the late goal in the period especially the third. After the islanders roared back to tie the flyers game he gives up the goal and they lose the game same thing yesterday islanders take the lead and under a min the game is tied. We are in a fight for home ice. Every point counts.
