Matheson would be ideal. Yohe's latest suggest Pettersson is not being shopped and the Pens are hesitant to move defensemen given the compacted schedule.

I can't believe people on here want to give up a bunch of assets for Gusev but it's laughable we'd pick up Sprong for free?

He's no savior, but I'd love to get Sprong for the 4th line. He would currently rank 7th on the Pens in goals.

No issue at all taking a flyer on Sprong if he’s free. His scoring rate this season has been really good but he’s also shooting 25%, which is unsustainable. The problem is that Sullivan already had him and disliked him, so I think it’d be pointless to pick him up.

ZAR did score on Saturday. And Tanev was definitely a loss. But we have lots of players lost right now and it's adding up in a bad way.

Nah there was just some weak articles choosing to overlook blatantly obvious things. I wasn’t a Richard about anything. Was banned for being abusive though and also apparently for having alternate accounts which is BS because I’m far too lazy to make a new email and account and stuff.

Just read this. Big take away: under no circumstances should they go back to playing Matheson and Marino.

Eye test, I'd say it's similar to Pettersson last year. You saw the mistakes, but the underlying numbers were better. I do think Marino's game has improved away from Matheson. He looked like he was trying to do too much because he couldn't figure out what his partner was going to do.
