Crap call by ref .. we hit harder than that in our beer league.

I will say the Flyers are flying tonight, no pun .. they are skating hard. We'll see how it goes in the 2nd when the Islanders push back.

Hard to believe these are the same 2 teams from Saturday.

One thing Flyers do that drives me nuts is pucks along the boards they stop skating and reach with their stick to poke the puck way to often instead of skating hard and taking the body and out battling the other player.

Ya, that is one thing that is really missing on this team, no one, and I mean no one takes the body on this team and punishes opposing players, and the other teams know it!

Anyone have a link for the feed of this game (I know...I’m a glutton for punishment!).

Just heard tonight that the Flyers are not talking Ekholm with the Predators, but Ellis instead. The reason is Ellis is signed long term at 6.25M for the next 6 seasons after this one, but is the same age as Ekholm and probably a little better offensively. Ekholm however is bigger and plays tougher I think. In the end would the Flyers want to get a player that is signed for this many more seasons?

Well, I've seen this game before, the Flyers come out flying in the 1st period and the opposing team is kind of flat. But you know the Islanders are going to come out flying in the 2nd, how will the Flyers respond or will they respond?

Well I caught the interview in the middle so I didn't get his name, seemed like a hockey writer with some knowledge of talks between the two teams.
