What a pass from Braun!

Playing a really solid game....getting pucks to the net. Nice effort tonight.

Good two periods...they need to keep out working the Isles. If Patrick keeps playing like this the shots will start to go.

Patrick has one point in his last 23 games. It's absurd.
- PLindbergh31

Watching him today, though, he's actually playing pretty well defensively. Winning battles, backchecking, and playing with a little bit of fire in his belly. Much improved, even without the scoring. Remember Coots, great defensively from the beginning and then broke out offensively a few years later. Maybe Nopa will follow a similar pattern. TIme will tell. But today, he's playing much better.

Agreed on Nopa. Unfortunately for the Flyers, the game is 3 periods, not 2. I'm nervous based on recent trends.

It is the best game he has played in 6 weeks. The Rangers fans I know are similarly frustrated with Kakko, he's been worse offensively than Patrick.

Big power forwards take more time. At least Kakko has that excuse.

Couturier from the beginning relative to his role was putting up decent point totals.

We have to remember, their still friggin kids. Not every young player that makes the NHL is going to be McDavid or Crosby or McKinnon or Matthews. Their just not. Hope the Flyers can get one of them some day soon.

Have a game tomorrow night. No need to change what has worked the first two periods. What needs to happen is for the Flyers to remain aggressive. Keep the forecheck on and manage the puck.

Only caught the last few mins of the 2nd... they play the whole game 1-2-2?

A couple of worrisome turnovers late in the period by Provorov and TK. That has to stop.

Flyers have really played a solid game overall. Managing the puck well. The Isles force you to play a lot of dump and chase. The Flyers have moved their feet all game and have been strong on the puck. It's nice to see but also frustrating. Iles are obviously going to push in the 3rd. Hope the Flyers don't sit back.

Nuts = good. Score should be much more lopsided but Isles goalie has been really tight.

Yes he has. He actually has been battling very hard in front of the net. Need more of that night in night out, and he won't be scratched anymore if he does.
