reporting on Hockey Night in Canada that the #Canucks, who were taking calls on their pending UFAs, have decided to wait to make moves with the run the team has gone on.

Teams are looking. Maybe someone makes an offer that Jim just says (frank) let's do it.

Well you do have a history of blaming the goalie. Saying the coach should have played the other goalie doesn't really get away from that. Pretty lousy team effort.
- golfingsince

I just felt that Green should have rolled with it. No travel fatigue here so it would have been nice to see Demmer in. And yeas as a dman I (frank)ing hate goalies...stop the fu*cking puck!!!

I always find if funny when dmen hate the guys that bail them out all the time. Why don't you just keep the puck out of the zone?

Anyways, getting doubled up on in shots and losing in a OT/SO is a bad look on the team more than the goalie.

Shocking, almost like we've seen this movie before. As long as we have a shot at the playoffs we won't acquire anything of value for our pending UFA's.

It's a love/hate thing lol

While I agree the consistency of play tonight was off , however 4 goals past Carey Price on limited shots should still have been able to lock down at 4-3 and close this game out in regulation.

With three regular forwards out and taking 7 of 8 points on an Eastern road trip.

That's sort of the fear that he waits too long again. Canucks are pretty well 7 points behind a playoff spot with now 21 games to go.

Tied for 10th worst in points percentage.

Once players are healthy, Canucks have lots of bodies available to them.

We beat Ottawa in OT twice and the Habs also got 3 of 4 points against us.

It's the inability to differentiate between who needs to stay and who doesn't. Pearson? Probably could have traded him offseason and kept Toffoli who I believe is a much better player. Others do as well as they were willing to ship Boeser to keep him.

Why the (frank) would we want Sutter back unless he took a 1 year deal as a UFA after he'd been traded. The list goes on.

Yes, Demko could steal 16 games but it's highly unlikely as our D corps isn't very good at actually playing D and our bottom six has little pop. You have to know when to hold em, know when to fold em........

No, just giving you a bit of context as you generally can't figure it out on your own.

The laughies don't help make your point.

A bottom feeder and a team you said we were much better than also took 5 of 8 points from us. Actually you called people idiots for suggesting the Habs finish ahead of us a couple of months ago.

Again, 7 or 8 is great but let's get some context. The bottom feeder lost it's starting goalie and still took us to OT twice. We essentially split with the team we're much better than ( even though they've won 6 and we've won 3 in head to head).

We all want the team to be good, you just can't handle that they aren't.

They count, we're just lucky we take Ottawa seriously while some other teams don't. Of course, there's always extra motivation when they're the team directly behind you in the standings.

Listen dude tell your fuken garbage to your gang members I am sure they love your dribble.

8 wins 2 losses and 1 OT loss.

Twist it any way you want . You are a loser and it seems you are the only one still posting . I would rather take a kick to the nuts than sit on here and spend time talking to you.

Go read your family a book .

That's wonderful!

At least my family still talks to me. How's the grandkids? Figure out you're a deadbeat yet?

Anyways, hope you have a great night with your hooker.

Let me know when genius Benning's team actually makes the playoffs. Does your homophobia stem from the fact you can't stop slurping him long enough to look at the team objectively?

The season is still tainted without the fans in the stands. Sell what you can and move on. Players won’t stop playing even if teammates are moved out. Just means more opportunities for younger guys to compete for vacated spots.

Are we buying now? I thought the Canucks could easily win against the 14-17 Habs, but they only collected 6 out of a possible 18 points in the series while Montreal collected 15 of 18? Must be using last years math

A 4 game losing streak at any point pretty much kills the season. It's not much different from talking to Nuck4U 4 years ago. We'll tease the playoffs and eventually fall short. It will be Benning's legacy.
- golfingsince

Playoffs are a long shot. There will be a lot of changes in the off season either way.

Amazing you remember a conversation with a poster from 4 years ago. Too bad he's gone as he sure lives rent free in those that bring him up.

Well if it wasn't the same conversation every night it probably wouldn't be remembered. Does that sound familiar?

What part? That you believe you have repetitive conversations or are fixated with a past poster?
