man i watched every 06-07 game and this is just as bad

Watching Patrick in junior it obvious how much he used his size to his advantage. I’d like to see him put on some more muscle still playing at the NHL level. He’s still very young and I see flashes of great passing ability. I’d like to hang onto him and just let him develop in the 3C role.

At this point, I wouldn't judge anyone who decides they're out.

He might have been rushed. Hextall dealt Schenn with the idea Patrick would be ready. I think Patrick’s best year was his rookie year. So maybe he was rushed. But honestly some of this has to be on the player. Yes he missed the entire year with a headache or concussion but he’s being given every opportunity to succeed this year and I see a kid that doesn’t want to engage...until he is willing to play as hard as his opponent he’ll continue to be a liability.
