The 3rd line of Chytil/Laf/Kakko has 1 goal in the last 8 games including this one. They need to balance these lines out

Good tough bounce back win. Playoff style game, great confidence boost in winning a close game like that after losing a close one last night.

Great win! Mika is looking like his old self again. Just heard he had lost like 15 pounds (in a bad way) coming into this season which explains a lot. Do think it’s time to rethink that 3rd line a bit though. The Blackwell offensive magic may be gone so moving him back to the 3rd or 4th line could create better balance and help Kakko or Laf move up in the lineup. LGR!

Missed last nights game, so can't comment on that, but damn does Zib look like last season.

Didn't know that. He must have been sick for a while.

They mentioned it during the Flyers game the other night. Took him awhile to get his strength back.

Oh wow. Came into that game in the 3rd, sorry for jinxing 10.
Of course they couldn't come out and say this until he was finally scoring. Obviously his team mates knew what was going on that's why there was no panic from Quinn or the team.
Just glad he seems to be healthy and put it behind him.

Real nice, character building win against a strong opponent! Many teachable moments for our young players in the game tonite. Nice to see Mika returning to form. Hopefully, they can build some momentum from this and get on a bit of a roll. Even if playoffs aren't possible, we are starting to see some growth in the kids....

Guys here were way to hard on him. It’s was tough to read

The team in general has gotten beaten to a pulp unfairly imo. Certain players get it worse then others. To few people look at the big picture, I happen to think this is perfect for this young team. They’re in the playoffs right now if you think about. Tight checking. One mistake kind of losses. The experience they’re getting in this type of game is going to be huge down the road.

On laf and Kakko, I’m still not worried about either. Next year when the season is normal, 82 games, non Covid, have a real camp, real practice is when you’ll start seeing the skills. They need room on the ice to be really good, right now you just don’t get much space in these games.

People need to take a step back with this team and realize what the big picture is. Take some blows now, and you’ll be better of for it in the long run

This board has become intolerable again 🤷🏻‍♂️

My honest opinion on who should be captain is Ryan Lindgren. Tough as nails. Mean defenseman. Looks to be vocal, plays hard-always bleeding lol. He reminds me of Callahan and Girardi all in one. He was huge tonight with 23 minutes, 2 blocks and +3, redeeming himself for awful game the night before.

And so is Mika. Losing 15 pounds from being sick is no joke, COVID or not. Glad he’s looking like his old self.
