The first 2 periods, Kakko was very noticible. Especially in the first he was playing aggressive, talking shots.

Noticeable is on the scoresheet

How many times is Georgiev going to overplay his angles. It’s unreal how out of position he is on that play every time.
- Awolff9

Yeah he should learned from the first one to stay in the net.

As brutal a loss as there’s been this season, this team didn’t have what it takes to be consistent and with that no where near a contender or looking like they’ll be one anytime soon, had enough with the not being able to draft a franchise player

It’s time to healthy scratch Kakko and maybe Laf, the production from top 2 picks is just flat out bust worthy
- KreiderBomb

I dont agree here.

The Rangers play a technically sound game. Every line did their part. It was not an offensive game. The two goals were identical because of Georgiev being off angle and poor rebound control. It sucks donkey Richard they lost after playing such as sound game.

Sam was saying how well the Rangers were playing against Ovechkin keeping him without a shot through two periods. I turned to my wife and said he's gonna get a hat trick now. I was close.

I'm done with Georgie. I don't think he tracks the puck well, over plays most cross ice passes, and dies not have great rebound control.

Here we go back to the thread blowing up after a loss. They win and it’s quiet in here

If this team was consistent you’d see less blowing up, it’s win one lose one, look great, look like shit, most consistent thing about this team is game in and game out we can expect is not to find Kakko and Lafreniere on the scoresheet

Just a rip in the ass losing like that.
But I think tomorrow you will see the Rangers played a good game. Learning to win those types of games are hard and takes time.
Back in the McD, Cally, Nash, Brassard days, these would be wins. That was the bread and butter of this team. Now, it's learning to try to win these games.

He's a 2nd overall pick when are we supposed to expect consistent production from him playing aggressive is not enough we're all so quick to jump on Zib or strome but Kakko has don very little so far and every excuse is made for it.

Agreed. This games was not a case of blowing up. It was a solid game with a bad outcome.

Young team that can’t close out games yet. They have lost about 7 this year that way. Hopefully they make the jump next year

Im not sweating this.

Lets also not forget, that 3rd line was matched up against Ovi's line several times this game. Theyre put in a position to play defensive.

Overall, lets keep in mind that theyre on the 3rd line which puts them in a defensive position.

Oh i get it brother. Not arguing with you. It sucks a lot.
While this loss suuuucks. To me its a better loss, with a young developing team, than a loss where there was no effort or pride in their game like we've seen earlier in the season.

Good point. That guy saved it from being 3-0 Rangers easy through 2 periods.
