Yeah. I think him electing to deke rather than shoot was the right move, but it just didn't work out. He had plenty of time and space to make it happen.

Marino is been pretty impressive IMO this game. Not saying that to call out the anti-Marino crowd. He's been more assertive with the puck and it's been noticeable in a good way.

Yeah, I don't know if it's just because they're trying to keep short shifts, so there's a lot of intermingling or if it's deliberate.

There were at least 3 extended shifts that period. Just a guess, but I think that's the reason.

MM seems to have a lot of extended shifts. I think I’ve seen him take a 2 minute shift in almost every game

I mean I’d trade him for a good return. But it’s his 2nd year. He will continue to improve for quite some time. Everyone was rough in the beginning with the D Injuries and ppl playing their offside. But we can trade petts for anything though.

Every time our 4th line gets on the ice, which is the equivalent of an AHL 4th line, we get completely caved in and stuck in our zone for about 1.5 minutes and lose all momentum we gained. Need to make a couple moves even if we get healthy... that line is hard to watch.

As someone pointed out the Devils are much faster and more physical than the Pens, so what I think is happening is the Pens are so small and weak, the Devils are overestimating and just falling all over the place.

He's had some good games. That line needs a center in the worst way. I don't like citing past teams, but give me another Matt Cullen from 2016.

The big issue IMO with the fourth line is it's constructed of all passengers.

Couldn't agree more. The worst passenger is Jank.

Have to be a pretty amazing return to trade a young top 4 RHD who doesn't even need protected in expansion.

Pettersson, I don't think he's an untouchable player, but I also don't think they have anyone better, so I'd want to bring back a defenseman. I know we have a lot of LD, but they are all bottom pairing at best.
