Is that how you became an anti-masker...?

Hey my friend, how you do tonight. Must be happy your boys won tonight.
You should come join the Rangers thread, we need a good poster like yourself.
The boys over there are pretty boring, which is why I very seldom post there anymore. We could use you to start a few good arguments and get away from these duds on this site.
Hope to see you over there.
Talk to you later my friend.

It's not the picks I care about. I'd just like to see Benning force Green's hand a little down stretch. Make the younger players more of an option as the games ramp up. The whole experience thing.

Benning wants to win as much as Green refuses to allow the younger players to play.

Dude, there are plenty of dating sites on the net. I suggest taking your courtship there.

Petey on LTIR won't see him until April I guess. Would that be when his new linemate Podz comes over...?

I know, it's a pipe dream. I just need to alter my definition of "ready" when it comes out of Benning's mouth.

Younger. I just think as the games get more intense some of the lesser experienced need to be battle tested. Otherwise, it's wait for another year to see how they do when the stakes rise.

I'm in neither time zone. An anonymous site isn't supposed to be where you make friends. It must be lonely in NY. Funny how this account responds to NYNuck topics and retorts.

Not sure what your boner for me is over. I have a hard enough time dealing with my multiple personalities in real life, don't have extra time to manage them online through extra accounts.

You can ask Makita: pretty sure he can see everyone's IP addresses and know who's who.

I was also hoping to see a couple rookies becoming regulars or playing more, but we have seen Hoglander come in, Demko clearly becoming the #1 goalie Juolevi, making an impression in his 15 games, would like to see more of him, Chatfield getting into a couple games, Zacmac playing fairly regularly.
The team is scratching and clawing and winning ugly, I will take that.

Over at the Athletic (written by DRAN*E and D*YAL, so fair trigger warning to all those people who get real agitated when their name appears online or they show up on TV) they wrote about what it would take to have him play this season:

The Canucks believe that Podkolzin is NHL-ready, and would be eager for their top prospect to sign his entry-level contract and begin his big-league career as soon as possible.

It isn’t straightforward, though, even if SKA St. Petersberg had its playoff run end this round.

Podkolzin’s availability this season is conditional on an almost dizzying number of factors that are well outside his direct control — and the Canucks’ for that matter. The fate of his KHL club in the playoffs is the first domino, but thereafter, he’ll remain formally under contract through the end of April.

He’d require special permission from SKA, upon the conclusion of the season, to sign his entry-level contract before the expiry of his deal, which would require some epic, likely impossible political maneuvering on the Canucks and Podkolzin’s camp. And if special permission isn’t granted, since the Canucks play their last regular-season game on May 8 and Podkolzin’s entry into Canada would be subject to a two-week quarantine, it’s unlikely he’d be able to debut in the NHL this season.

Even if that special permission were granted, however, Podkolzin could still be selected for Russia’s team at the World Championships, which are set to take place in May and June in Riga, Latvia. The IIHF is prepared to set up bubble protocols to play the tournament, if necessary.

If Podkolzin were to be selected by the Russian Federation to participate in the World Championships, that would also crimp his ability to debut in the NHL this season. And, in fact, even if he wasn’t selected, he’d still require a letter filed to central registry from the Russian Ice Hockey Federation stipulating that they don’t intend to name him to the World Championships roster in order for him to sign his entry-level deal.

Considering the way the deck is stacked against Podkolzin and the Canucks, it seems overwhelmingly likely that Podkolzin’s NHL debut won’t occur this season.

We will see him next season.

I was kinda hoping you were DannyBomber. The guy is hilarious. I still chuckle over his post in Ek's thread about meeting an NHL player. I think it was Orland Kurtenbach. Gold.
