I don't know what Green is telling them but I see teams that play with each other and try and find each other. There is almost never ever any support of the player with the puck, no movement. They intentionally give the puck away all the time.

Just frustrating watching this team seem as if the skill has been coached out of them. Any sort of hockey IQ just gone. They play like an AHL team just trying not to get blown out nightly.

I'm not sure how much of it is systems and how much of it is the players. Some nights they literally can't make or accept passes... that's not as much on TG as on them.

That said, there's a number of things I don't like about TG and his system. Hopefully this summer there's a GM and coaching change.

Sometimes the passes are right on the tape, but because a certain passer puts a spin on the puck with every pass he makes, it makes it difficult to control that pass.

I'm not super ready to give up on Benning because I can't go back to brutal drafting like half the league. Jim has got to step up and help the team try and take another step which clearly isn't just different players. How many players are having down years on this team right now? Players that should have taken another step have taken 10 steps backwards.

Whilst Benning's drafting has been good, he's lacking in the big picture. The direction and his actions change every two years. I think they're turning the corner from drafting to competing in the next year or two, and I don't see him as the guy to make that turn. Not that my opinion actually matters in that regard.. but JB should be the Headmaster of Scouting, not the GM of a team.

Vesey came just in time to replace Pearson.

Leaf's wanted Pearson... now with injury guess its the Sens who give them what they want.
