Isles need to regroup, could be good for us

They went on that really good run right after they had a long break when Buffalo missed a few games. Not a bad thing at all.

Not implying it’s a conditioning thing by any means but more the style this team plays but they seem to hit a point in the season where they’re beat to crap. Last season they hit that point right before Pelech went down the team looked tired and we were meandering with a 500 record over like a ten to fifteen game period or something like that. The prior year also we hit a segment of the season like that. I’m wondering if the NHL will have us play some other teams instead of Boston next week? Hopefully not like you two said a little rest would probably do this team wonders...

Yea they play a great 20 game stretch and the get off track it seems. Was great for the playoffs and why they have as good a chance as any other team but I think the break let's them really work on special teams

I have read some recent articles that the Sharks are possibly looking to reset and give their younger players more time. What are your thoughts of Evander Kane?

Is he too toxic?

Could he be gotten for a 1st draft pick and Ladds contract?

He is tough in front of the front that is the only reason why I was thinking of him. Plus he is off the radar. I know his contract is term is not beneficial. Just a short term thought.

Yes.

What’s more, he and the Sharks are in discussions about terminating his contract (due to his whole bankruptcy fiasco). I’d say he’s a player best avoided.

Timo Meier on the other hand...

Thanks for the insight. Did not know that Sharks were looking to terminate his contract.

Timo Meier is an interesting thought but I was looking for a LW. I doubt the Sharks would want to part with him as they are longer for younger.

This is likely so.
