I am here. Because mostly the idea of working is just (frank)ing awful right now.

Pretty much. I just made myself a big, greasy, restaurant-style breakfast. Work can have me at nine.

Quinn pushed all the right buttons last night. He is definitely the coach for this team.

I guess you’re right. Must be Quinn that was holding Mika back from record production levels.

I'm kinda pissed now that Buch and Fox couldn't play Monday, guarantee we win that one if they were playing

Impossible. Quinn was still behind the bench.

Nice.
I toasted him with a Back Alley black lager when he scored his first last night (raised the same glass for his second!).

I think we are on to something.

That has a nice ring to it. Almost as catchy as Cap’n Rooney!

Last night could have been the first game ever where both teams head coaches get fired after the game

Never let the facts ruin a good narrative:
“It is bizarre, but everything was all planned out,” said Knoblauch, who spoke on the phone to Quinn half a dozen or so times during the day. “Quinny had pregame all set out for us. He had a game plan, had the video all set up. Before the game started, Murph and myself chewed up the game and went through the video with the pregame scout, with Quinny. We went over talking points, key things, matchups, all that stuff. So really I was just following up the game plan that he set forward. We didn’t really have much time to prepare much or do anything rather than just implement what they had planned.

Not sure this one is worth the fight, Jan (yes, I am saying this to remind myself). Upwards of 30% of the fan base will be spouting this today, based on one game.

This was more a referendum on the Flyers ineptitude and lack of heart than it was the Rangers. Elliot was a sieve and they played on their (the Flyers) all night because of it.

Maybe a small bit was the Rangers rallying around each other because of the coaches being out.

the reality is, the last 5 games that the Rangers have actually had both Panarin and Buchnevich in the lineup at the same time they've been fantastic and are 5-0

maybe they'll get a break finally this year and have their full team the final half of the season

I agree and disagree. The flyers looked terrible all game. But I will say the Rangers could have easily played down to their level and did not. Hence the 9 goals. Instead they played a style that was consistent and dominant at times, which we have all been screaming for, that lead to a lot of nice chances. These games build confidence because the team took advantage of a team playing poorly, instead of just beating a team playing poorly.

I can't wait to put Kratsov on a line with Strome/Panarin and finally be able to roll 3 top notch talent lines.

Finally getting some chemistry going

4th line will be interesting. I think Rooney and Blackwell will be on there. Then its Lemieux, Pizza Boy, Howden and Gauthier fighting for that last spot

Not a bad thing to have all that competition to stay in the lineup

I don't know, it's hard to blame the goalies when no one even tried in front of them. Rangers had about 10 odd man rushes in that 2nd period alone.
