Soooooooo........holy fuck!!!!
Missed the game but kept checking the score and watching the goals on the NHL app, please let Mika be back and this team get healthy for a run
Good to see Georgie get a shut out for some confidence, those 2 saves were ridiculous!
Also the Fire Quinn stuff all over twitter because of the Wolf Pack staff is the epitome of Rangers twitter, just dumb knee jerk garbage |

ahhh (frank) it then, give me Byfield - jimbro83
I was expecting a first, but if they can get Turcotte I think they'd have to do that trade. |

I am not against keeping Buch at all. It's just going to be so tough. Trouba, Kreider, Panarin already locked up long term. Then you have Zib dilemma and the need for another top 6 center in the next year or so.
On top of all of this the cap is staying flat for a few years.
Glad I don't have to make these decisions. Cause if you trade Buch and Kakko/Kratsov don't pan out you are screwed if he takes off elsewhere.
But man his value would never be higher for a trade. - TPC
I get both sides of the argument. Buch has finally (hopefully) really shown up this year and we have Smith and JJ coming off the books, so the contract would be kind of a wash. |

that's my line of thinking, I want to acquire the young center that will develop with these wing prospects
I dont need the 10 million a year established center already, but the one who will grow along with Lafreniere, Kakko and Kravstov

agreed. i think we need to trade buch to try and fill the hole at center. also, we've seen too many times where players kill it in contract years and don't after signing, so i'm weary of that.

As well as Buch has been playing, the bigger picture still needs to be accounted for. Unless we are willing to settle for what we have at C, we have to give to get. If hes going to play at this clip his contract demands will match it. Ive always said, Id love to keep him around, but with the kind of depth that we have at RW someone has to be a casualty of our riches in order to make the team better. With all the up coming contract extensions, I dont think financially it would be wise to keep Buch around. |

Georgie didn't have much work, but that one save he made last night, I think on Nolan Ryan, was the best of the season so far for any Rangers goalie |

i feel like buch has played himself into a core role on this team. Strome is playing really well but is really just an above average role player who is playing himself into a similar or larger payday than Buch. I'd say we try to package him with prospects/picks for a high upside C. The Kings have been mentioned several times as good trade partners due to their abundance of high quality young centers |

All of the skaters are out there... except I don't see Chris Kreider. I'm checking to find out if it's a maintenance day for him or something else. #NYR |

I know that the Kings would love a young defenseman more than anything else |

Something that was overlooked in the blow out last night was Libor Hajek very quietly having another solid game. Who would have thought that he might be protected in the Expansion Draft over Tony D'Angelo? |
