I'm on board moving Sutter/Pearson but I would hold on Benn for now. Playing pretty well looks way more mobile this year. Doubt the return would be there. Holtby at 4.5 well maybe some GM will need him lol but that's a tough sell. I think he'll be better here eventually but there is no patience.

For sure move on from JV but his value is quite low. I still think a Boston trade makes the most sense and if you have to pack him up with Gaudette to entice Boston. We need players like Debrusk coming back. I would do Gaudette and JV for Debrusk today.

I'll preface this by saying the Canucks should be sellers at the TDL. If they make the playoffs, they're limping in on the back of Demko's Vezina play, not because they're actually a good team right now.

Benn isn't making or breaking this team. OJ needs some solid minutes for development. If Benn isn't a long term plan, why is he taking those minutes away?

I wouldn't trade JV now as his stock is low. Let him play some top 6 minutes and hopefully his value increases to close out the year.

I would rather do Pearson/Sutter + JV for DeBrusk, as Boston needs better bodies for the playoffs, which I don't think Gaud would provide them.

I know some were scratching their heads about dressing Chatfield as a forward last night, but it gets him one game closer to being qualified as an exposed defenseman, which we have discussed a few times now.
I think he needs to get into 16 more games.

As I have said before, I don't mind Myers, but, I wouldn't be complaining if either of the 2 eligible 6 million dollar defensemen were exposed, they will have to expose someone who qualifies.

Been on the Cernak wagon since last season, would be a nice defenseman to have, as would Nuckers boy Pelech from the Islanders.

I think we all have a vision of what the Canucks 'should' be doing at TDL but the bottom line is if they are in the 16-19 slot not much is going to be happening. JB may even Add lol

That would have to be the intent of calling up anyone from Utica, for sure.
I would also think once up here, they could loan those players to a Canadian AHL team if need be
