Lemieux is useless but does something funny here and there. No hands and tripping over himself. Not his Pop for sure. - topshelf17

Yes but I love Eagles nest area as well and hit the rope tow for another.
Can’t agree with you more... it’s who you’re with. Hopefully you took a couple of safety meetings in the woods - topshelf17
Got to hit eagles after 11”, basically getting first tracks. Some of the best turns I’ve ever had.
Tons of safety meetings. Actually, all of them haha |

Is Quinn your new Quickie? - Bean_Dip
No, I just think calls for his firing are ridiculous at this point.
We are still rebuilding. He is obviously teaching these kids to play smart defensively and with accountability from day 1. The youngest team in the league would be pretty damn competitive if Mike wasn’t suffering from Parkinson’s, Breadman hadn’t gone into witness protection, Chytil hadn’t looked great then broken his hand and we had a goalie that could keep a save % over .900.
How the (frank) should any of that cost him his job? I don’t consider “I just don’t think he’s the right guy” to be an acceptable answer. Not when it comes from someone who knows nothing about the players. |

With Buch on the COVID list, its the time to check it out. Do a LAF, Zib, Gauthier line and see what happens. - aecliptic
Yes could be a great time to figure out if Buch is needed. Could be a trading day deal in the making |

Claude loved nothing more than to piss people off, he had a phD at drawing penalty's for agitating. However, when he needed to turn it on he could put it in the net. |

Imagine having the second coming of Claude on our team. We should trade Brendan for a guy like that. |

I still straddle the fence on Quinn. I think he has done a fine job coaching the team. That’s evidenced by his nearly .500 coaching record. That said, I think there’s even more potential in this team that he needs to figure out how to tap into.
Also, some of the criticism is legit. Historically, his teams have had rough starts. They also have poor endings to periods. Not a great recipe for success.
Definitely don’t think he should be fired right now. Maybe in the off season... |

Obviously I think we all hoped Brendan would be that kind of player. I think the best chance we had for someone like that might have been Max Domi, however these kids dont know how to agitate with discipline and take dumb penalties. |

Oh no. Claude was mean, but he did not cheap shot players that were completely vulnerable EVERY shift he ever played. I know he got in trouble a lot. But he had WAY more character than that weasel. |

Absolutely. I am not trying to say he’s Scotty Bowman.
I would hope he can improve on his deficiencies. But, a lot of his pressers (more-so last season) you could tell he was frustrated they weren’t playing within the system. That’s on the players.
I know you can’t force who you’ve got to go against their instincts, but you can’t abandon the team defensive structure either. |

I agree. Just the best comparison I could come up with.
But, I never had a sliver of respect for Claude after the hit on Draper. (frank) him and his progeny. |
