I dont want to completely dismiss the ridiculous season Jeff Petry is having, but isnt it a perfect example of his numbers that comparing players in that Canadian divison in this Covid season to ours is really stupid?
it's almost as if it isnt the same sport up there |

I think you are beyond obsessed with him that you will talk yourself into this no matter what
Just be ready to be disappointed when it never happens - TPC
Im a Rangers fan, disappointment is almost religion. |

Remember when everyone was going crazy about getting Danault over the summer? Imagine if that 1 goal in 28 games was with us after we traded for him..... |

just thinking about all the sentiment that has no patience with the lack of production from Kakko and Lafreniere....
historically, it would fit in perfectly and such a New York Rangers thing to do to give up on these kids because they couldn't produce in a ridiculous Covid shortened 50 game season where they only play teams in the Northeast
and then 4-5 years from now they are superstars in the league on other teams
it really would fit right in with every dumb thing this team has done from Rick Middleton, to Dave Gagner, to Mike Ridley to Zubov
such a Ranger thing to do - jimbro83
Man Middleton still pisses me off |

Guys were desperate and miscasting him into a top 6 spot on the NYR when he’s suited to be a good 3C. |

I was never on the Danault bandwagon. I thought he was a solid 3C/borderline 2C, and good for PK cause of his faceoff skills. However, not worth the price he would have commanded, not the type of guy we currently need. |

I have to admit I viewed him as an upgrade over Strome. Good defensively, EXCELLENT on draws ( especially compared to our current centers ) and speaks French to help LaFreniere adapt to the NHL. Never saw his season coming like this though --- his dropoff rivals Mika...... |

Mika has the same points as him this year and 30 points more than him last year |

Im huge on the Barkov bandwagon. It will come down to one thing, and only one thing. Can Florida afford to pay the man, my opinion is no.
I know the likelihood of this is probably slim to none than most other proposals, but do you think Detroit would make Larkin available for the right offer? - aecliptic
Florida paid bob |

he could be ready next year. if that's the case we'll have him, fox, nils, trouba on the right side with only 3 spots to fill - picklerick
gonna be real interesting to see what they do about that, because on the left side they got K'Andre, Lindgren, Reunanen and then Zac Jones and Matthew Robertson coming |

send trouba and one or two prospects not named nils or schneider (not including anyone currently playing for us now or krav) to someone else for a bag of pucks |

One thing we don’t really have on D is a bomber slap shot. Hopefully one of these next group will be it. Like Weber, Pulock, subban kind of shot |

K'andre has a blast of a shot. Trouba has a heavy shot that never gets used, probably because it's always a foot off target... |

Mika and Trouba exchange sticks and maybe one of them would hit the net with their shot? |
