Florida is doing too well to consider that one now, but yeah, in off season, that's something that could get some legs

especially if the Rangers first rounder is really high after lottery

Yea it’s all about if he won’t resign there the following year. Would like him more than Eichel

this injury he has scares me off completely

but otherwise, I actually think it's a good time to trade for someone when they aren't doing so great

Eichel isn't even 25 yet and is absolutely talented enough to be a franchise center, but for me all talks are now off

We don't really know much about the injury right now. Maybe part of it is Eichel just being completely done with his time in Buffalo?

I agree with you but maybe it's him trying to stay away from the club. Then again, maybe it will make him super cheap?

I think about Stamkos as a comparison. Guy has had some gnarly injuries. I take him in a heart beat.

I am just not impressed with that team. All I hear all the time is how great Hart is and for years how great their D prospects are. I just don't see it. Guys like Giroux and Voracek aren't the same elite players they were a few years ago. They have a lot of depth but just don't see what I have to hear all the time living here.

Don't see them competing for the Cup the way they are built. Good team, yes. But not contenders. Like you said, some of those guys have fallen off, especially Ghost.
He is a ghost of himself.

Stamkos is a competitor, Eichel is a Millennial.

I want to preface this with the fact that I am not really an Eichel fan since he looks like stretch Screech. But I think Eichel is plenty competitive.

Stamkos is a Millennial too. Only a few years of separation from Eichel.

lol. Stamkos is 7 years older. That is essentially a career.

Few thing,

As to the teenagers, I would love production from these guys like Min. is seeing from Kaprizov. Huge difference is Kaprizov is 23 so I think that patience is the key. If people are saying they need to trade them, than they are just silly.

As for Eichel, Obviously at this point the Rangers should keep their distance but this is such a fluid situation and if the possibility exists that he can be had for pennies on the dollar I think you do it. The Rangers are not in the financial bind that Buffalo may find themselves in. Even if he is on LTIR all next year but then is healthy the rest of the contract it works out.

Vince Z. Mercogliano

So, we were supposed to talk to David Quinn at 11:30, but it's been postponed until later today. No official word from the Rangers as to why. There was no morning skate scheduled for today because the team practiced yesterday. Game vs. #Flyers is scheduled for 7:30pm. #NYR

Im huge on the Barkov bandwagon. It will come down to one thing, and only one thing. Can Florida afford to pay the man, my opinion is no.

I know the likelihood of this is probably slim to none than most other proposals, but do you think Detroit would make Larkin available for the right offer?
