historically, it would fit in perfectly and such a New York Rangers thing to do to give up on these kids because they couldn't produce in a ridiculous Covid shortened 50 game season where they only play teams in the Northeast

and then 4-5 years from now they are superstars in the league on other teams

it really would fit right in with every dumb thing this team has done from Rick Middleton, to Dave Gagner, to Mike Ridley to Zubov

I am just not impressed with that team. All I hear all the time is how great Hart is and for years how great their D prospects are. I just don't see it. Guys like Giroux and Voracek aren't the same elite players they were a few years ago. They have a lot of depth but just don't see what I have to hear all the time living here.

I understood the 'connection' regarding some interest. But it just didn't match with what JD was saying regarding the direction of the team and asset management. I guess that's why it didn't make sense to me.

I believe the draft is where the Rangers should make their moves.

Landeskog also has injury/concussion history ( like Mika ) that makes me reluctant to offer him a long term deal...
We need a young center, Eichel with a neck injury isn't so attractive anymore. I just don't know who the answer is.
