Having extra money allowed the Rangers to sign Panarin, Leafs to Tavares, Vegas to Pietrangelo, Blues to Hoffman... having extra money can help a team an extra piece to their core, rather than being sandbagged by worthless contracts.

Thirdly, Canucks made the whole Schneider/Luongo mistake not that long ago. The only mistake they made was not trading Markstrom when they could have gotten something for him.

Fourthly, Flames suck. You suck. Sutter definitely sucks.

Fifthly, enjoy just missing the playoffs.
