He's been one of the best forwards on the team over the last two games. He's shooting, hitting, getting to the net and playing with grit. He laid a nice hit on Subban earlier where he sort of shocked me with his balance. He's at a point in his career with any future development most happen at the NHL level. He needs to stick in this lineup whether Anders returns or not.

Well he’s got to give trotz every reason to let him stick in the line up. So far I agree he’s doing that. Hopefully he doesn’t take his foot off the gas. He probably realizes this is a now or never moment for him with this team.

Yeah they both suck. Fire Korn !

Brendan Burke was commenting on Trotz saying and I’m paraphrasing...”it takes 100 games for a goalie to get comfortable and tell how good they’re gonna be in the NHL.” Something to that effect.

I hope he realizes this could be a career defining moment.

If there’s any team that’ll capitalize on that it will be the caps Tuesday...
- Cptmjl

Missing Lee and Pageau for that game is a concern. I have to assume Dobson is likely out too...and now Clutterbuck. Certainly the WRONG time for this crap to pile up.

I still want to know how Pageau can end up on the Covid protocol list and the rest of the Isles/Devils are not. He just skated with them yesterday!

Not sOrOk5n, he was so good in the KHL. The kid was gonna be number 1 before he even learned how to say save in English let alone make one in the NHL. I mean Ben was giving him 5 million per year he was so good

I believe he does and if he doesn’t his father and agent are certainly in his ear telling him that.

Maybe he got a positive test. Showed symptoms today?

Based on protocol though, anyone in contact with him would enter that same protocol, no?

Save for that horrendous giveaway I feel Nelson has really stepped up in Lee’s absence. Need Bailey and Beau to do the same. Getting fed up watching both of them.

With all these guys out (now Clutterbuck too) a win would be great. I hate to say it but just getting a point would be nice.

I thought there is a huge adjustment that needed to be made from Olympic sized ice to nhl?

Not really sure what their protocols are? I assume they’re stricter then let’s say some of the hospitals in our area protocol for their employees. I am serious the risk of them exposing opposing teams and it spreading through the division potentially is real so I assume they’re real strict. You would be shocked at how loose the local hospitals are with covid protocols.

He also could have been exposed or might have been exposed after yesterday’s game by someone he came in contact with and he didn’t come to the rink today.
I’m sure we will find out tomorrow from Staple.

Well they won't release specifics I would imagine but Dobson is on that list and was in the dressingroom...which means everyone else was potentially exposed as well

Why does Wedgewood look like an all-star against the Isles?
