He has been shooting more.
- JimmyP

Not on the pp. Sits on the puck and slows the play down like he’s trying to kill a penalty.

Yep bad on aho and not an especially good goal for Sorokin. Neither of them were but neither of the goals varlamov gave up last night were any good either. Team has been playing good in front of both tenders not so much the goalies themselves lately imo.

We HAVE to get better at moving bodies out of our crease....
- keaner17

Yes. Sorokin was screened, but he needs to be able to fight through that. However, Kuokkane can't be allowed to just stand there like he's waiting for a bus.

I thought Varly was one of the Isles best players yesterday.

Honestly I think they’re tired. Not sure when next game is but hopefully we win this one and get a rest.

Well of course you did.

Both goals he gave up were lame.

On a serious note he made some unbelievable saves.

I like Bellows game. He’s not Lee but he’s playing gritty like Lee. Let’s hope he keeps up his play. Getting to the dirty areas.

and gave up two terrible goals. Wow Sorokin didn’t know where that was(kind of like varlamov did last night). Varlamov is going to need to be great Tuesday...

Can't stop what you can't see. I'm not sure HOW screened he was, but I'm getting concerned with how often we leave other teams forwards uncontested in front of our goaltenders. I get it on the PK since we're sticking to the box, but on even strength, someone needs to be there to guard the crease.

Aho is smaller than Hickey. I don't think he's gonna be moving a lot of guys out from in front of the crease.

He's been one of the best forwards on the team over the last two games. He's shooting, hitting, getting to the net and playing with grit. He laid a nice hit on Subban earlier where he sort of shocked me with his balance. He's at a point in his career with any future development most happen at the NHL level. He needs to stick in this lineup whether Anders returns or not.

If there’s any team that’ll capitalize on that it will be the caps Tuesday...

You just have to be there to tie them up. An extra body is a higher liklihood for a blocked shot. Leaving a guy uncontested in front of your goalie is a recipe for disaster
