If they bring in two players I can't see them being both Forwards. Isles are one injury away on D from being in trouble. I would think a forward plus a depth D-man would be more likely then two forwards.

Agree with this my thoughts as well. They’ll definitely hedge their bets with a depth D men and Palmeri makes the most sense with what everyone already stated on here. I really believe he’ll be an excellent fit with this group and who knows it may make sense to make it work with resigning him when all is said and done... Just have to murder Ladd first.

I don't think they'll be in on him, but Ekholm would really be such a great add. You'd probably have to cut back on the Leddy/Mayfield pair's minutes to get Ekholm the ice time he deserves but man would we have one hell of a tough defense to play against.
