Pearson in for a rude awakening though. He's a 2.5M player on his next contract the way he has been playing. Bumped down easily.
- manvanfan

I agree. I just think if JB resigns him, he's not going to take a discount from one contract to the next on the same team. The pressures of the market would dictate that... JB won't be able to push him into that right now.

Best option is just to trade him now, get a pick, and then cycle back around if he wants to when he hits FA

Other teams have bad contracts and other teams sell at tdl, maybe Benning should do what other teams do?

Ferland said he was feeling better and Benning said no. No grievance filed.

Remember Manny Maholtra who said he was good to play and Mike Gillis said no you are not . Manny once again played after he left Canucks but no grievance filed.

Benning can easily say that since his surgery Roussle has not been able to reach NHL level of skating and wants him to rehab until he hits that level again.

Massive concussion issues and eye surgery are a bit more solid of a base to go off. Rous and Beagle played this entire season.. a bit harder for a GM to force them to LTIR because they NOW don't like how they're playing, even though they've been playing and there hasn't been any chatter about it.

I think this LTIR dream is about as realistic as NFU's MTA dream

Again telling a player he is too slow does not need doctors approval. As a GM he can ask the player do you want to practice every day on the taxi squad for the next year and a half or would you like to stay home?

Was playing around for the fun of it with trades for this year.

Put Beagle and Roussel on LTIR for the remainder of the year. Frees up 6 mil in cap room.

Edler to Wpg for 2021 second . Retain 3 mil

Sutter to Edmonton 2022 second Retain 2.1 mil

Pearson to MTL for Armia (UFA )and a 2021 second Retain 2 mil

TB need to clear 9 mil to bring back Kucherov and they want to get rid of Tyler Johnson . TO Van : Tyler Johnson Erik Cernak Blake Coleman (UFA) and a 2022 first for MTL second round pick and Winnipeg's second.

Armia is better than Pearson, and younger. Tyler Johnson pretty far from the guy who putting up decent points. Also, why wouldn’t they keep the group and try to win again?

Marvin Hagler went into icu after taking the vaccine, lots have died already. A little over a year ago I watched a bill gates seminar and he flat out said depopulate using vaccines and health care this is when I woke up to what's going on. Stay away from the vaccine you don't need it anyways.

I'm sure a professional athlete who has spent their entire life fighting to play in the NHL will say "Ya, okay, I'll go home."

It's like LE or Baertschi. I'm sure they gave them the same options, and they're still playing and trying to get back on the roster. These guys aren't going to go to LTIR willingly, and if they're on the roster/taxi/Utica, they're going to count against the cap.

I think the best LTIR retirement story has to be the Hossa one. A perfectly fit athlete one day wakes up and is allergic to the Chicago Blackhawks uniform. Not allergice to any other article of clothing on the planet just Chicago sweaters.

No vaccine, ointment or underwear could prevent the skin disease soon as the jersey went on Hossa started melting.

I bet that team doctor felt proud for his findings

Skipping the bath salts today and going with a cadberry creme egg blizzard. Homemade though. Crushed up 4 creme eggs and blended it with French vanilla ice cream.

Armia is younger, excellent defensively and has an upward trajectory. Don’t know how/why you trade him for an againg vet

He is 9 months younger, he's 27 years old, how much further can he project. He isn't and never ever will be able to be a top 6 regular on any roster.

I posted Arminia because he is a UFA . I had read Habs would like to reunite Pearson and Toffoli . They need to move salary if they make any trades.

This is hockey buzz man bad trade suggestions happen all the time . Last week we had a moronic offer of JTM for a guy that has 2 assists and played 17 NHL games. Bath Salts flow freely.

that’s fair, didn’t know he’s ufa. I’d like him as a signing.

Team doctors don't stay as team doctors by saying the GM is wrong too many times.

Benning can walk up to Roussel without even asking a team doctor of Roussels health .

Rouss here are your three options.

1) You are not fast enough anymore we can put you on the taxi squad and practice every day but you are not playing anymore because you are too slow.

2) You can go on LTIR and rehab and practice every day until you reach a NHL level again.

3) You can go on LTIR next year and stay home
