Honestly, I was more upset Travis Zajac refused to waive his NTC to go to the Islanders. Not that I have a problem with his decision, I just would have liked the team to get assets for him.

At the same time I appreciate Zajac getting to 1000 games just with the Devils. He's in a pretty exclusive club of NHL players to do that with one team. I'm just sorta over hating players because they made decisions that were best for them/their family. I never booed Parise for leaving, especially after knowing it was to move closer to his family to spend more time with his father before he passed.

Completely agree. And Eff Guerin too! I still hold a grudge for his stupid hold out in the ‘90’s.
