I think it’s time to set sail on this team , sit down jake and Giroux and get their lists. Go with a youth movement. The D core is young with a few guys on the way, maybe in a few years guys like Frost and Forester will be in the lineup. Hart still young as well, hopefully by the time he’s an established top goalie we will be ready to compete.

I think he’s had a good year....and perhaps with a first round pedigree along with some other pieces might get the Flyers a useful piece.

and this is why there is no need to trade for Ekholm. The Flyers as a whole have a lot more issues than one above average dman is going to be able to fix. They banked a lot on Patrick, Lindblom, TK to produce and so far they have been underwhelming. Need Zamula and York to make the jump and get some experience and stop playing bums like Gus, and to a lesser extent Hagg

Clode ain’t going anywhere as he is extremely comfortable; otherwise he would have wanted pit long ago. Flyers eating by half his cap hit would get a nice return I bet.

Jake is a productive player and I don’t see any market for him at all in today’s flat cap little revenue being generated environment. Unless for a same level contract coming back. Just pay Seattle to take him at this point.

Honestly, if there is one prospect I want the Flyers to hold on to, its O'Brien. I think he will be the real deal for the Flyers within 2 years if he keeps on his current trajectory. Now, if I can get a truly impact player, of course I would be open to anything.
