It would be nice if Lind and Gadjovich could somehow get a taste this season.

I am looking forward to seeing them also but it is still a question mark . I am more concerned about getting Rathbone and Podk.

I am trying to get use to 2 Rookies a year.

You need to see what is available . Easy to say replace the bottom 6 and that is exactly what they tried when they took Beagle Roussel and the other guy from Boston. Canucks have some bottom 6 guys in their system but the question is are they ready?

Sutter does more than PK only. Not many teams have deep scoring from their bottom 6.

Like you I'd be ok keeping Sutter for one more year but if we can get an asset for him and Pearson at TDL I think at this point we need to look at it. Lot's of teams will be looking for PO help and Sutter and Pearson would fit well on many clubs. I think Motte is ready for bigger duties as well.

I get that . The reason a team would want that player is because they would help their roster. They also help our roster. So you are leaving a hole and have to replace them with someone who may or may not be ready or by turning to free agency.

I get that fans want more draft picks but keep in mind a lot of prospects have played very limited hockey that has been affected by excuse number 8 (A Covid year)

There is a reason why so many GMs want the draft moved . They are not sure of what is available . More draft picks gives you more chances at being right but it also gives you more chances of being wrong.

After Brooks giving a rundown of the Comets, I think Rathbone needs another year in Utica. He said Rathbone is another rover like Hughes, not sure that is what this team needs right now.

He needs to learn how to defend, like many of the young guys.

I was waiting for you on this one
I knew you would jump on this seeing it was picking up steam on Twitter yesterday from Kevin Woodly then to the angry crowd.

If DiPietro was not on the taxi squad he would have played on the Comets and at least be getting games (angry crowd).

Comets have played 7 games so far this year. They have also shared the goal duties between both teams St Louis and Canucks. There has also been back to back games.

Diepietro would have had four starts in the last year playing against the same two teams mostly. The league also has its best players playing on taxi squads for the NHL .

Mikey is getting NHL training and practice and has missed basically 4 ECHL starts.

I'm not an expert on development, but it can't be good to go so long without playing in real game situations.

I think more than a few players are going to have their development ruined because of the Covid years. It is just a fact.

The quality of the AHL is well below par this year. Comets signed another ECHL player yesterday and are using two ECHL goalies now (Jake Keilly). St Louis has called their AHL goalie up to the taxi squad also last week.

It is an unfortunate time for a lot of young hockey players.

I think if Canucks are out of the playoffs soon you might see Holtby on the taxi squad and Mikey getting a call up. Holtby has been less than stellar.

If you are out of the playoffs at TDL why not look at the young guys?

Nikita Tryamkin and Dmitry Zhukenov's KHL seasons have ended. Both players KHL contracts expire on May 1st, 2021.

Game day!

Canucks are going with the same lineup, and hoping for a similar outcome, as they try to lull the Habs to sleep with an 8 p.m. puck drop.
