I'm saying that the playoffs are a different beast. This team, as it stands at this exact moment in time, is not built for a grinding playoff run.

If they add some grinding pieces, I think they're in good shape.

I never said the Jets are "better", but I certainly wouldn't bet that the Leafs will have a cakewalk into the 3rd round.

Not sure if you've ever watched playoff hockey before, but whistles tend to go away and games tend to be far more physical and competitive than in the regular season. You should check it out sometime, it's exciting stuff!

While I don't think he's a good first round pick, Slater Koekkoek wins the "potpourri" award for me: A word that you've read, but didn't know it sounded like that. I heard announcers saying, "Koo Koo" and had no idea it was the same person.

TBs current GM didnt have to draft Hedman, it was 3 gms before him...so what Dubas did wrong is he didnt let Bruke draft the next hedman

Well, first you trade a 5th round pick to Arizona for Phil Kessel, then you trade Phil Kessel back to Arizona with his $1.2m retained cap hit and a 2nd round pick for the 5th you just sent to Arizona.

Then you trade Kerfoot for Crosby and half retained. Easy peasy!
