Right now it’s cus we have literally no one else and Sullivan is prioritizing keeping the checking line together. ZAR and Tanev are obviously far better players than ERod but I get why you’d keep that line together and hope that Malkin and Kapanen can elevate a plug so that you still have three functioning lines instead of “loading up” the top 6.

Like if it’s not ERod, it’s Angelo or Lafferty.

ESPN had the NHL in the 80's, they didn't show many games. Nor did they cover it on their sportscenter show. Ticked me off because I was in the Service at the time and didn't get to see many games.

No idea who they will have call the games but Buccigross isn't bad. Melrose is a goof ball.

Gus Johnson is fantastic. I just think Kirk and Fowler as a duo is unmatched. First week of the NFL season ESPN had two Monday night games so they had to activate Kirk and Fowler to cover one of them and they instantly became the best NFL duo on air like it was nothing first try. And I have a pretty high opinion of Romo-Nantz, but these guys wowed me. They actually got me into the game where typically I’m only watching NFL games for fantasy and gambling purposes.
