This is just typical of the NATIONAL GARBAGE LEAGUE!! In the season opener, Sammy Blais hit Devon Toews of Colorado, gets a penalty and a two game suspension. Toews goes off the ice for concussion protocol and returns at the start of the next period. The suspension was BULLSHIRT!! Two games later in Vegas, Mark Stone not only cross checks Tyler Bozak in the head NOT ONCE BUT TWICE AND GIVES HIM A CONCUSSION (WHICH BOZAK HAS NOT PLAYED SINCE) AND GETS NOTHING, NODA, BECAUSE HE IS THE LEADING SCORER OF THE BLACK KNIGHTS!! COLIN CAMPBELL, MIKE MURPHY, AND THE OTHER DUDE WHO MAKE UP THE CHARGES NEED TO BE FIRED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! These THREE STOOGES CONTRIBUTE TO THE REPUTATION OF THE NATIONAL GARBAGE LEAGUE!!!!

Wilson is a bum, dude crosschecking ovechkin several times got what he deserved. Marchand does much worse and gets away with murder, as did Bergeron behind the net on a cap in the previous game. Dish it out, you get it back. Mask up!!!

Bruins were taking liberties with OV and this is what happens. Right or wrong it was coming and it's good to see Boston get a taste of it. SHould have only been a few games but is what it is.

Lesson here? Yep, don’t wait for someone else to take care of YOUR business. Even a guy as tough as Wilson, will get a concussion from a well placed flying elbow.

Until the league gets it's poop together, I have to agree 100% with the sentiment of this statement. Wilson is a predator with a history of head-hunting. If the league is going to keep slapping offenders on the wrist, then the players will have to mete out justice on their own. Eye for an eye. The headhunter becomes the headhunted. Knock Mr. Tough Guy Wilson into next week with your choice of : slewfoot, spear, flying elbow, head butt, whatever breaks through that thick Cro-Magnon head of his and gets the point across.

A good way to end the Wilson-type threat is to get clauses in the contract that any fines will be paid by the team and players will not miss any cheques when they are suspended. At least ONE guy, anyhow.

100% makes sense – Wilson's hit was a headshot on a vulnerable player by a repeat offender which caused an injury, whereas Ovechkin's spear was a well-deserved (although not particularly honourable) response to two unprovoked cross-checks to the arm – Frederick messed with a legend and got what he deserved: harm, but no foul.

Tom Wilson should be banned from the NHL. He will 100% do something like this again. It is becoming apparent that the players need to protect themselves against him and the best way would be to take him out before he has a chance to end someone’s career.
