Getting ready to launch the sloop "Jonnny Ringo" out into Islip Harbour for our voyage North. Up the coast and a route that will take us down the St. Lawrence trolling for North Atlantic stiff eel. Aboard this time will be "Big Bernie Tuna", bruceflyers, and Rickard who we usually call Rich.We met in the can on Rikers Island, he was in for manslaughter and having sex with the bodies. Good Guy.
We're going to dock again in Montreal. bruceflyers will head to the Eastern Townships where we have a good Weber smoker, he's great at smoking bones, and it keeps Him away from HB. We'll also just freeze some of the catch for people that don't want their eel smoked. bruceflyers is going to do necks too, they were a big hit around Ottawa which we'll visit again.
Bernies is going to visit his buddy Mo in St. Sauveur, Richard is visiting the morgue, and I'm laying pipe in Mt. St. Hubert.
We are looking forward to good weather and a nice trip up. Be fun hooking up with some of you HB guys or girls.

I honestly don't. He seems like he makes genuine efforts to talk the guy off the ledge and bring him into the discussion. These attempts aren't one offs either, and he does it in a way that also seems to try and coach out the bad acts. It's likely an exercise in futility but I have to both respect the effort and approach.
Most people treat tolerance the way most people treat free speech...they argue for it when it's for people they agree with. Pete seems to be doing it with somebody nobody is on the side of and that is admirable, even if likely fruitless. I know I'm not offering the guy an olive branch

yeah I get what you're saying, I don't see it but it's one way to look at it. free speech is definitely at the centre of all this, since the trolling has mostly been about mocking people for discussing non-hockey related subjects in this thread
