I don't think seeing a metaphor in Super Blood Flower is that far a bridge to cross, metaphorically speaking

I have some in my fridge (supposed to come from a small farm). Just need to check the date and make some at some point, sooner rather than later.

I like eggs, but I don't eat breakfast all that much either.

I didn't read the forum beyond this, so apologies if this has already been stated:

You don't need the date to tell whether eggs are still good or have gone bad. Just use a cup of water. If the egg sinks to the bottom, it's still good. If it floats on top, it's bad. If it sinks, but not all the way down, it's in between—at this point I only make hard boiled with these kind (I've made hard boiled with top-floating eggs, with mixed results as to taste, so I don't find keeping them worth it).
