How does a coach get his team to stop giving up 2 goals within 2 minutes of each other? They do this vs Carolina and TB.

Good experience today for the young dmen yea they struggled at times but good experience since they managed to get 3 points in 3 games vs the Bolts

The Bolts like so many experienced winning teams do a great job of holding for a second or two and letting go. Just enough to turn the player and slow them down but not long enough to get called for a penalty

You're talking about a team with pretty good guys on the PP playing against a team who recently had 3 defensemen in the AHL or college. The Bolts know how to get them out of position or they should take pay cuts.

this 3 game series reminded me a bit of when we were chasing the Red Wings. We could out play them for stretches, win a game or two, but when the Wings just wanted to take over and stymie us, they could. My point is that this 3 games is a great learning experience for Mgmt, JC and Staff and the team to understand that there are things the team needs to learn from the SC contenders and once they do understand and commit them...they will be a much tougher team. Things are def headed in the right direction. I think next year, assuming a fully healthy Dach, Toews and maturity of the rest of the rookies....look out. Im not saying SC contender, but def upper echelon of the league - top 1/3rd.....THOUGHTS All?

You are assuming Toews and Dach play like last year. That is a big assumption, Toews stamina/strength and Dach’s wrist are huge question marks.

i have much more confidence in Dach coming back from his wrist injury than Kruger - Kruger was in decline at that time or had lots of miles on this body as compared to Dach. Toews...lets just hope for the best there for all the right reasons.. and a 75% Toews is still darn good
