I want to see Podkolzin Brock and Petey , Miller with Hoglander and maybe Gaudette
- VANTEL

I want to see that as well when Pods free, curious to see how he does in the show. One of the few interesting things left to see.

No problem when you're cap compliant year after year.
- Marwood

Thank god for JB! Being cap compliant was something Mike Gillis was never able to do... worst ever.

This guy? Did you not hear his question yesterday? I probably would have laughed and asked how journalism life makes him suitable to run an NHL hockey club.

The best part of his first line about JB being held accountable. Is Daniel Wagner JB's boss? He doesn't need to be accountable to anyone but FA.

That guy always writes out his ass. He would have drafted Adam Boqvist and Casey Mittelstadt

Say the Canucks squeak into the playoffs, should JB get to hold him accountable for this?

Of course he could, if he was an alpha.

Really? Let’s take a look at the Toronto Maple Leafs, the team in first place in the North right now. Their top two forwards, Mitch Marner and Auston Matthews, are 23 years old. The Canucks’ top two forwards, Elias Pettersson and Brock Boeser, are 22 and 24. William Nylander, selected two picks after the Canucks took Jake Virtanen, is 24, unsurprisingly the same age as Virtanen.

Really? A 1st and 4th overall comparing to a 5th and 23rd overall?

Should we add the 4th in Morgan Reilly who is 26 over the 7th 21 year old?

Shouldn't exclude the other 1st they picked up in his prime.

Toronto is what we all thrive to be . They have won so many more cups than Canucks in the last 50 years

He’s been an excellent surprise, I didn’t know if he couldn’t overcome his size but he’s done that and more. An awesome pick by Benning!

They have also made it to the playoffs numerous times. I could be wrong, I may need to ask Wagner for conformation but I don't think you can win a cup by losing in the first round.

I'd be hard pressed not to throw some money on Van.

I didn't even open the article but if it Wagner (Pass it to Bullsh1t) then I am glad I didn't open it. He is another tool trying to make it in the industry.

3 points in 3 playoff games.

@Hockey_Robinson
Vasily Podkolzin KHL per-game numbers:

Regular season: 0.28
Playoffs: 0.86

Granted the sample size is unfair, but it sure appears like this is a kid who enjoys the heightened battle of the postseason.

He's been the same since that tweet of 2017 or whenever he quoted about Benning. Should learn to take things a little lighter.

Living in NS football was on late into the night. Especially Super Bowl. Moved to BC and now you got to get up early on Sundays to catch the first game. As I get older the mornings are much more manageable.
- bloatedmosquito

So who do you really cheer for? There’s no way that you grew up in NS as a Vancouver fan.
