BPA, never draft for position in the top ten

Always BPA Gema. Just never go full Lefty. Otherwise your Leaf buddy might get the last laugh.

He has been solid over his past 5 starts to be sure maybe a sign he is coming around.

Now Green just needs to ride him out over the last half of the season without pulling the 'goalies are tired card' and schedule lol

At this point Holtby should see no more than 5 starts for the rest of the year barring injury.

Agreed, it was strange they even signed the guy. I think the scouts were asleep at the wheel, he has been below average for a while

This is someone from Twitter on Myers, but same sentiment:

Why is everyone ripping Myers and his contract? GMs make mistakes. That's the nature of the business. Just take it day-by-day and live in the present.

How has that worked out for them? Take the BPA....always when you pick that high in the draft. Just my opinion.

you’re always ragging on what terrible player Kotkaniemi is, and, Arizona totally whiffed on Hayton, nevermind Seider and Broberg haven’t even made it to the NHL yet. Never draft for need in the top ten for me. Again, just my opinion.

Edit: for the record I think Seider is going to be a nice player in Detroit for Yzerman.

I always troll the Habs but KK is now on their top line . He has surpassed superstar Suzuki

Seider is killing it in the AHL

Broberg is doing very good in Sweden

Zegras has 1 assist in 6 NHL games.

Hayden was a waste of a pick

Seider plays in Sweden but yes they’re developing him nicely, as I said in my edit, looks to be on track to be a good player but you never know until they actually get to the NHL.

I’ve never minded Kotkaniemi, had a really good playoffs for Montreal last year against Philadelphia. He’s young, I don’t think he’ll be a star but a good young player.

Looks like they should put Pettersson on Horvat’s LW and trade Pearson for a draft pick, but no, dumbass Benning wants to re-sign him so he doesn’t look like a fool trading away McCann and the 33rd overall pick for absolutely nothing

Seider played last year in AHL I forgot he stayed in SHL . Regardless we both agree he is a keeper.

I Still think Montreal's weakness is down the middle (for now)

If you look at the Ryan Kesler trade tree, a high value player when Benning traded him, assuming Pearson & Sutter walk for nothing, Jim Benning essentially traded Ryan Kesler for Will Lockwood

Crazy to think that Seider will be 20 in a month. Time flies.

I am shocked that the Bruins have nothing to show their Bobby Orr trade and Espisitio for that matter also.

We will throw out the fact that for Kesler we got one year Bonino five years Sutter three years Pearson and now Lockwood .

Worked out just as well when Edmonton took Yakupov. Goes both ways.. typically the BPA works out, but taking the pick for position (assuming the choices are quite close) works out too.
