Reading their terrible takes is important to help inform though. If you take things from both extremes, and you are semi intelligent, you can form your own opinion. If you only listened to N4U imagine your opinions of things...

I pick and chose what I listen too. Always gathering info and always making my own calls.

I don't need Canucks way or Canucks Army telling me 5 players that Canucks must trade before TDL.

I appreciate Fabers updates from overseas and on the Comets but I sure as hell wont read an article from Canucks Army why Benning must go.

Having strong opinions means you care, you’re engaged, you want success. People lash out, doesn’t make them any less of a fan. The media guys are just fans with a a platform, most of them anyways.

Flames really trying to impress their new coach. If the Oilers had actual NHL goaltenders they would be dangerous in a playoff series, but they don’t.

I haven’t been to CA in months. Fabre writes there btw.

I listen to JPat and Drance podcast. Generally I don’t like Drance, he’s too positive most of the time, but I like to hear what he thinks because believe it or not, he has a lot of experience in the industry.

On the other hand, JPat is usually too negative, but they kind of cancel each other out.

I have never listened to one podcast about hockey ever. I don't subscribe to the Athletic . I probably read less than 10 % of the articles on Twitter.

I do appreciate Fabers Drance Bachelor's JPat or anyone's updates.

I do read a lot of facts and updates though. That is good enough to keep me happy. If I have interest about something I can look it up.

That is fine but it doesn't make them less clueless.

Like I said, everyone’s clueless unless they support your narrative. Your takes are clueless sometimes, as are mine, as are Mini’s, etc. etc.

It'll be interesting to see what they do with Petey when he comes back. That new 'top line' looks pretty good together, and JV has been playing better with Bo.

Would TG consider bumping Pearson down for a bit? Or do they go 3 difficult-to-match lines with Petey centering Gaudette and.. Sutter? Hawryluk?

JPat and Drance do one called Vancast, 3 times a week, and they talk about all kinds of stupid poop. It’s entertaining and aggravating.

I listen while gardening, or out for a walk or whatever. It’s also free, so...

I know they do it . Truthfully both of them are entertaining it is just not my cup of tea.

I listen to some of their bites when they have them that are 5 minute spots on the radio (before the station crashed)

No one asks for money, you do it because you want to. I’m an Athletic subscriber because they cover all sports, everything, you single-mindedly think they just write about the Vancouver Canucks? They write about tons of things sports related.

Canucks Army is free, as is listening to 650, and most other opinion based pieces.

The writing on the Athletic is by far the best sports writing and in-depth data I've come across. Happy to pay for the NHL, NFL, EPL, Canucks, Arsenal, and Seahawks coverage

Me too, they cover everything and there’s some great informative pieces, which is why someone like Carol endorsed it.

You are assuming I think that when in fact I know there are multiple writers from all over writing about all or most sports. I get enough free info to satisfy my interest. I would not pay a penny to read Dayan's dribble nor would I pay to read LeBruns take on the Habs or any other writer to talk about things. I don't buy Sports Illustrated either.

I get enough free info.

I know Canucks army is free and most of it is dribble and now can do segments on the 650

There’s a lot of free information out there, in fact, 99% of it is free, the Athletic is the only thing I pay for because they cover NFL, MLB & NHL with some great info.

To each their own, but there's a certain "you get what you pay for" element to it. I don't know how many of those "free" content guys are actually on Sportsnet while having connections to the team/management... whether you like their opinion or not.

I have no problem with how you spend your money and how I spend mine or who or what I read should not be a problem for anyone either.

I just read a piece about Russell Wilson wanting to go to the Chicago Bears and they’re trying to make it happen, you won’t get that in the local papers, it was good info.

Yes they have access to management and ownership and it is hilarious when management and ownership come out every few months and laugh in their face or when they say it was hard to remain silent reading their BS.

Anytime I see Carol writing I read it. IF I see Sara Olesky I read it. Pourtzline again I read it. Dayal I skip it.

Biggest statement game of the season. Can they go full metal jacket to take the hill for a playoff birth?
